Paulo Dybala rebounds with his first goal in months as Roma secure key Serie A win

AS Roma claimed a crucial 2–0 victory over Torino at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino on Matchday 21 of Serie A. The undisputed star of the night was Paulo Dybala, who delivered a decisive performance with both a goal and an assist, ending a long scoring drought.

From the opening minutes, Dybala took full control of Roma’s attacking play. The Argentine drifted between the lines, created numerical advantages, and brought fluidity to every offensive move, dictating the tempo in what is always a demanding away fixture.

The breakthrough came in the 26th minute and had Dybala’s influence written all over it. He played a key role in the build-up that ended with a composed finish from Donyell Malen, a goal that settled Roma and confirmed their dominance in the match.

With the lead secured, Dybala continued to shine as the creative reference point. He dropped deep to receive the ball, drew defenders toward him, and opened space for his teammates, while Torino tried to respond with possession but lacked penetration in the final third.

Dybala’s night was capped in the 72nd minute. The Argentine arrived inside the box and finished with trademark quality to make it 2–0, a strike that left the home goalkeeper with no chance. A goal and an assist completed a truly authoritative display.

That second goal extinguished any hopes of a Torino comeback and underlined Roma’s total control of the contest, with Dybala orchestrating every pause, transition, and attacking sequence. In the closing stages, Roma managed the advantage calmly, as Torino struggled to create clear chances and failed to seriously test the visitors’ defense.

With this win, Roma moved up to 42 points and remain firmly inside the top four of the Serie A table. The night in Turin marked a turning point for Paulo Dybala, who looked confident, influential, and once again decisive in the race at the top of Italian football.
