Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez personally thanked a group of supporters who traveled to Saudi Arabia to back the club in the Spanish Super Cup. Just hours before the Grand Final against FC Barcelona, the club’s top executive delivered a message of total confidence in the team.
Florentino appeared at the Madridista supporters’ gathering at the Jeddah Hilton Hotel, where around 500 fans came together to support the squad. There, the Real Madrid president highlighted the club’s competitive identity and urged fans to trust the players in a moment of maximum pressure.
During his speech, Pérez reminded everyone of the club’s historic weight in world football and the mentality that defines Real Madrid players. He stressed that every footballer understands the responsibility of wearing the famous white shirt and the obligation to fight until the final whistle in every match.
“This is the club of 15 European Cups, and no one should doubt that whenever our players put on the Real Madrid shirt, they are very clear about one thing that is never questioned here: we never give up,” Pérez said to the crowd.
Florentino Pérez also emphasized Real Madrid’s leading role in modern football history, pointing out that the club’s success has been built through unity between players, the board, and the fans. He assured supporters that the trophies belong to every Madridista.
“This white shirt is the protagonist of the most extraordinary moments in the history of this sport. It represents the passion and emotion of football and belongs in the hearts of all of you,” the club president added.
Pérez recalled that over the last 15 years, Real Madrid has experienced one of the most successful eras in its history, winning 30 titles, including six UEFA Champions League trophies. He closed by promising that the team will give everything on the pitch against Barcelona to proudly represent their supporters in the Spanish Super Cup Final.
