Endrick Ruled Out of Club World Cup with Hamstring Injury.

Real Madrid’s young forward Endrick has been diagnosed with a right hamstring tendon injury, sustained during the team’s 2-0 victory over Sevilla. This injury will sideline him for approximately two months, ruling him out of the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup in the United States and Brazil’s World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Paraguay.

The club confirmed the diagnosis in an official statement, noting that his recovery will be closely monitored.  This setback adds to Real Madrid’s growing list of injuries, which includes key players like Vinícius Júnior, Lucas Vázquez, Dani Carvajal, Éder Militão, Eduardo Camavinga, Antonio Rüdiger, Ferland Mendy, and David Alaba.

Endrick’s absence is particularly impactful given his recent emergence as a key attacking option amid injuries to other forwards. His injury occurred during the second half of the match against Sevilla, and subsequent medical evaluations confirmed the injury.

With the Club World Cup approaching, Real Madrid will need to adjust their attacking strategies to compensate for Endrick’s absence as Jude Bellingham is also scheduled for surgery after the Club World Cup. The team is hopeful for the return of other injured players to maintain competitiveness and hope to capture this trophy after missing out on the Champions League, Copa Del Rey and La Liga.
