Casemiro Confirms Manchester United Exit at the End of the Season Ahead of 2026 World Cup

Casemiro will bring his time at Manchester United to an end at the conclusion of the season. The club has decided not to activate the optional extra year in his contract, meaning the Brazilian midfielder will leave Old Trafford as a free agent.

“These will be my final four months at Old Trafford,” Casemiro wrote on his social media accounts. The message confirmed the end of a chapter that lasted four seasons and included trophies, leadership, and decisive moments for the Red Devils. Casemiro’s contract included a clause to extend his stay until 2027, but the board opted to close the cycle.
