Prior to the duel between Udinese and AC Milan for Matchday 4 of Serie A, Massimiliano Allegri spoke about the current situation of Santiago Giménez, who is going through a goalless start to the campaign in the Italian tournament.
In a press conference, the Rossonero coach showed full confidence in the Mexican striker, ensuring that it is a matter of time before he recovers his scoring streak. "It's okay, he has opportunities, he just has to stay calm because he is going to start scoring. He has always scored and he will do it again," said the strategist.
GOOOOOLAAAAZZO MEXICO!!! 🔥 GREAT GOAL FROM SANTIGO GIMÉNEZ! 🇲🇽⚽ What a great left-footed goal! Santiago Giménez just made a work of art to tie the score #MariachivsKpoppic.twitter.com/5QEgFs8yOM
Giménez broke his drought during the September FIFA Date, when he scored with the Mexican National Team in a friendly against South Korea. However, upon returning to Milan he has not been able to replicate that fortune in front of goal.
AC Milan is fifth in the standings with six points and seeks to climb positions in the clash against Udinese, which has seven points and remains undefeated at the start of the 2025-2026 season. For Allegri, recovering the best version of his scorer will be key in the objective of fighting for the first places in Serie A.
