AS Roma surprised fans by announcing a new partnership with Gissah, a luxury fragrance brand and market leader in the Persian Gulf. In an unconventional move for the football world, the Italian club has brought Gissah on board as its official Fragrance Partner, with the goal of extending Roma’s identity beyond the pitch.
This collaboration goes beyond a traditional sponsorship agreement. Both parties will work together to create an exclusive line of co-branded fragrances inspired by the club’s culture and history, aiming to build an emotional and sensory connection with supporters around the world.
Roma’s Chief Business Officer, Michael Gandler, emphasized that the partnership represents a fusion of football, luxury, and lifestyle, noting that the fragrance will offer a unique way to express the club’s identity.
Gissah CEO Bashar AlAmir explained that the deal is a strategic step in the brand’s global expansion. The word “Gissah” means “story” in Arabic, underscoring the intention to tell Roma’s journey and values through the product itself. The partnership is also expected to strengthen Roma’s commercial presence in the Middle East, a region where the club has been steadily increasing its influence in recent years.
While specific details about the fragrance line have yet to be revealed, the announcement is already generating buzz among fans, who see this type of collaboration as a more original and immersive way to connect with their club—both on and off the field.
